Project Car: 78 Subaru Brat
It starts and runs great even drives around pretty well for a 30+year old car. all the original electronics work radio, lights, AC, heater, windshield wipers etc all function. This Brat also has the camper topper, original tool kit, service manual, jack kit, and one of the original bucket seats. When I purchased it the car had spent the last decade with an off-road title and since purchase, I haven’t changed that status.

things to fix on the Brat
driver side window was shattered by the original owner
Some body rust, floor pan is pretty rusty on the driver’s side.
Windshield is cracked
the dashboard is cracked from sun oxidation
the Brakes do not work because the passenger rear drum brakes cylinder is leaking out brake fluid and the brakes shoes popped off them when I looked at it.
both seats need some TLC
original owner altered the factory key ignitions but the car still starts with aftermarket ignitions
Those who are interested I’m asking 1,000$ or OBO for this Brat. Since the brakes are not working.. if you can Haul it/ pay. it’s yours. I might be interested in trading for a subcompact Japanese car from the same decade like a Datsun 510 something small carburated and easy to work on.
