Getting married so the toy car has to go. I have a 1980 Subaru Brat.  Super fun, super rare, on the fly 4×4, great mpg, manual 4 speed.

The good: Fresh engine build install from CCR installed years back with extremely low mileage(~200ish)., Runs and drives well.  Will start on the most sub 0 weather. A real head turner, very clean interior w CD and AUX capabilities. Great tires and newer rear struts.

The bad: Usual midwest rust spots.  Cracked windshield, torn CV boot, intermittent dash gauges (likely just need a cleanup).

Sad to see her go, but it’s time for someone else to have fun.

Ronald Reagan used to whip one of these around his farm.  I also have original jump seats (plus extra) and frame to either bolt or weld in, along with all documentation regarding the engine rebuild.
