1982 Subaru Brat with 190k miles, runs great, drives great, 4WD is selectable (not always on like on modern Subaru’s). Trailer hitch and jumpseats in the bed.
This car runs great! It’s honestly reliable enough to be a daily driver. Following work done on 9/9/2022 (receipt available for review) brake fluid, belt, fuel filter, horn, hen oil filter, NGK spark plugs and ignition wires, YEC distributor rotor, CQT distributor cap, ACD battery, axels, lights, motor mounts (2), marker bulbs, clutch, tow. I don’t know what “belt” or “tow” mean, the previous owner had this work done.
The problems are the radio doesn’t work, and the car could use some rust repairs. The floor pan inside is intact! The paint is original and looks pretty good in most spots. Tires could be replaced, but we had no issues with them.
This vehicle is the size of a small car, has T-tops that don’t leak, and has a truck bed with the original, factory installed plastic jump seats in the back. Is it legal to ride back there? Who knows, but it looks fun! It’s easy to park around Seattle or ready for you to drive it home, wherever that is.
