Selling my 1984 Subaru Brat GL — EA81 engine, 4-speed manual with dual-range 4WD. Clean Idaho title. Factory rear-facing jump seats with belts are present and solid.
Starts every time and drives great. Shifts smoothly, hi/lo engages without issue. New tires on stock 4-lug wheels. EA81 boxer motor is unmodified and dependable—carb’d, air-cooled simplicity at its best.
Seats aren’t original but they’re comfortable and surprisingly cool—perfect for rocketing around town or cruising gravel. Interior is tidy and fully functional. Heater works.
Paint has a great worn patina—faded in the right places but still full of character. BRAT decals are re-applied in era-correct style and bring the whole look together. Bed has honest wear but is solid and ready to haul gear, bikes, or your buddy in the jump seats.
This rig’s been used, not abused. It’s not perfect, but it’s dead reliable and turns heads wherever it goes.
