If you are here reading this, you are probably one of those people that understands exactly what this vehicle is, and why it is worth this much money.

I love this little car, but it is time for it to go to someone else that will also love it.

It currently has 160k miles and has the original 1.8L 4 cylinder engine. It does not smoke, but it does have a small oil leak. In about 2000 miles, I have added less than a quart or so. It starts and runs well.

The interior is in good shape, but needs cleaning and some TLC. The dash is not cracked. The floors are solid and the carpet is in good shape.

There is no rust on the body, and the undercarriage is very clean with very little rust. There is no rust in the wheel wells (except on the shocks themselves).

There is no A/C.

There are no jump seats in the bed, sorry.

It has a manual 4 speed transmission and has 4 wheel drive.

The paint is original. While there is no rust, the clear is wearing off in places. There are a fair number of small cosmetic dings and chips.

I have owned it for 4 years, and I do not drive it in the winter as the salt would probably eat it up. Before that it belonged to my mother in law who lives in a state that does not salt. I think she owned it for 15 years or so. I don’t know who owned it before that.

This would be an easy restore for someone in the market for one of these.

I see Brats of this same age, with similar miles, in similar condition, routinely selling for $8k-$10k at auction. This is a great opportunity for a local buyer to get a deal on an extremely rare car.
