More Info: Up for sale is a 1986 Subaru Brat. This is a chance to own a piece or Japanese history! When these vehicles hit the market in 79, they were designed to compete with the small size pick up segment like Mazda, Toyota, ford, etc.. Only this vehicle is light, nimble, and the part time 4×4 system works amazingly! I am not sure the actual mileage on the vehicle. The previous owner used it as his farm truck and for awhile it sat. It runs well and everything works. it was driven down the freeway from Stanwood, Wa. to Seattle going 60 mph just fine. I would say this vehicle could use an all around tune up,,? But it fires up great and runs fine. Here s the breakdown,

Runs well
Has a set of snow tires that have 90% tread left on them
4WD system works very well
Body is straight and all electrical works great!
Con’s
Will need new break pads soon
Has a tear in the driver seat ( just needs a seat cover)
The dash is cracked (just needs a dash cover)
Bottom of driver door rusted out has been patched in the past (not noticeable)
This vehicle is a classic that needs a good home for some one to own with pride. This is one of the more cleaner examples that is out there for sale and wouldn’t take much to fully restore. Who would have thought the VW Beetle not even running would sell for $2500 or more these days.
