It’s time for me to sell my 1981 Subaru BRAT. For those that don’t know much about these, it is the only year they made the 1st Gen body style with the 2nd Gens slightly larger (1.8l) engine. It has 1 very small leak on the oil pump. Other then that, everything’s been replaced.
Everything on it works but for a 41 year old car, it does have its minor issues. The car fires up every time and is a blast to drive around town. Unlike a lot of brats you’ll see, you can actually drive this one home if you’d like. The things that need fixed are in the pictures. The paint (unless yellow is your thing, I don’t think it’s to bad), the tail light housing and the tail gate handle. All of which I know where to get and who can install it for you.
This things been an absolute blast to drive around, I’m moving out of state and can’t take it with me. Shoot me an offer I’m open to anything.
