Rare 1982 Subaru Brat for sale. 4wd.
Not perfect but a clean driver. Runs, drives, and stops well. Asking $3995. Honestly, I have $6-7k into it.
Previous owner replaced the floor pans and did interior work. It’s a solid car, especially for the northeast. It is not from this area originally. I had the pads, rotors, and calipers done, in addition to tune up, rebuilt distributer, new belts and hoses, some suspension work, vent fan repair, partial carb rebuild, windshield, and a few other things.
I was told engine was rebuilt around 50k miles ago, which I believe to be true. Car has 220k-something on the body. Paint is decent- some minor bubbling at rear wheel arch but it’s presentable. Could use a buffing to bring out the shine. Tailgate has some rust at base, but it comes with a spare.
Comes with cyclops eye and switch in dash, but needs the cyclops grille to function. It’s a manual 4 speed. Exhaust tip was modified at some point. It passed NY state inspection this year. Gas gauge does not work. Radio works, but speaker is loose in glove box.
Comes with a few spare parts/odds and ends. Clear NY title in my name.
