More Info: Considering selling my 83′ baby blue BRAT. I love the car, I just don’t drive it enough and don’t have the time/energy that vintage vehicles require to keep going. 227k miles, but according to the person I bought it from the engine is newer but I cannot confirm that. Body is straight with minimal dings considering its age, paint is in good shape
Interior is clean, one crack in the dash i believe
T-tops don’t leak
Rebuilt carburetor
New battery
L + R front CV joints and axles recently replaced
Killer stereo
Tires with plenty of life left
Newer starter
Newer distributor/cap/wires
Clutch feels great, engine runs strong
New front brake rotors/pads
Clean title
Bad –
Needs a new front wheel bearing (grinding/rubbing noise that changes when turning).
Oil drip on left side of engines, drips onto the header pipe and causes smoke. Once the engine is warmed up the leak stops.
Rust issues at front of bed and back of cab.
Missing rear interior liner
Drivers seat belt is jerry rigged but safe.
Carburetor needs fiddling to pass DEQ
No jump seats or factory accessories
Tags expired but has trip permit for the time being
Needs new brake fluid sensor so the light will turn off, or just unplug the sensor…
Bumper is a bit bent
