1984 Subaru Brat GL 4wd 4-speed manual T-top. 157k miles.
Original California car with clean California title, recent smog, registered and ready to go. Highly collectible now (one sold on BaT for $22k! I know, crazy, right?) so this is, you know, bargain-ish.
The good: Zero rust, engine hums, passed smog on 1/8/20, seats like new, 5 new Cooper tires including spare, new CARB approved catalytic converter, comes with bed seats. T-tops!
The so-so: Repainted at some point, stripes are repros, bed seats held in with zip-ties (originally welded, most owners cut them out, can be re-welded or mounted on racks for easy removal).
The bad: 3rd gear synchro is crunchy, dash top is cracked, one rear mud flap was partially chewed through, needs new shocks and struts, at least one CV joint is clicking, missing tailgate badge, center console is missing the original radio and home-made box-thing is in its place.
Missing a couple of small dash-vent pieces. Some wavy metal down low where things have been bent or bumped into, tear on the driver’s door panel at the sill.
