1986 Subaru Brat 4 Wheel Drive.

Facebook required that I chose a model so I chose BAJA. BRAT was not a choice. This is not a BAJA it is a BRAT.

Needs Clutch installed which is included in the sale. Ran great. I blew the clutch and started the process of removing the engine. I can hook the wiring and hoses and such back up and get it running again if I have someone seriously interested in buying it. I don’t plan on pulling the engine and replacing the clutch. I am selling it ‘as is’ I have too many other projects and don’t have time for this one.

I have owned it since February 2020 and when I bought it I went over it thoroughly to make it a dependable driver. Plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, all filters, belts and a general tune up was done. These old Subaru’s are easy to understand and work on and are very reliable. New tires as of March 2020 and I have driven it approx. 3000 miles since then. The body does have some rust, mainly the tailgate, right rear quarter and some underbody rust. Nothing too bad and it is repairable. The interior is nice without rips, tears or other damage except the dash pad is badly cracked and warped.
