A beautiful 1986 SUBARU BRAT GL in good condition and runs like it’s ’86 again! A lot of new parts put on over the past two years. Carburator, starter, battery, altinator, distributor, exhaust, cadilidic converter, tires, Bosch spark plugs and wires, universal joints , brakes, k&n air filter, fuel pump, to name a few. This BRAT is equipped with the t-tops and a sliding back glass window which is extremely rare for a generation 2 BRAT.
This beast has 4wd hi/low in a 4 speed manual. 212000 miles on the odometer. About 100000 on the motor which came out of a BRAT that had AC. This one does not. Minor rust on bed , bottom was powder coated by the original owner whom owned a SUBARU dealership near Lovettsville Va. There is also minor scrates and dings as you’d expect with any 30 year old BRAT.
This GL is truly an unstoppable force in mud and snow and is sure to impress even the most seasoned American made truck enthusiast. This is the fourth SUBARU I’ve owned and I’m looking forward to getting rid of this one for another late model SUBARU.
