More Info: Selling my ’83 Brat. Its a 3spd Automatic with push button 4wd. Lots of new parts since owned with reciepts. Interior is rough. Body is pretty straight. Has some minor rust. T-top has recently started leaking, coming from hardware mount, seal seems good. Runs/drives ok but could use some love. Has been sitting, started and ran irregularly for about 3 months. Comes with canopy, jump seats, two repair manuals and other original parts. Tags good till Sept. 2015.
I have owned this Brat since Sept. of 2013 and invested a good amount into it. It was my daily driver and project and has never left me stranded. It will do highway speeds, and has made several trips that a full tank wouldn’t cover with no issues. The 4WD works great, does awesome in the snow/offroad. I have gotten on it a few times but never stuck, broken or abused.
